Erin Dalpini is passionate about writing and thinks that story-telling is the way people best connect with others and better understand themselves. A lover of language, when she’s not working as an editorial assistant for a high-profile nonprofit organization in Chicago, Erin spends her time writing, reading voraciously, running and practicing yoga.
A recent college graduate (BA – English ’08), Erin’s fairly new to the freelance world, but not to journalism. While she was an undergraduate at Valparaiso University, Erin was the features section editor for the student newspaper, The Torch, which won Indiana Division II Newspaper School of the Year for two years running while she was on the editorial board. She also worked as an editorial intern for a regional magazine publishing company, Essential Publishing, where she honed her advertising writing and editing skills.
