Wyoming Writers Groups

Wyoming Writers GroupsWyoming has a decent number of writers groups and writer’s resources, more than we expected to find. Still, this page should never be considered the final word on Wyoming writers groups–we know there are plenty out there we haven’t discovered yet.

If you find a Wyoming writers group or a Wyoming-based writer’s resource we missed, please let us know so we can add it to the list. Send all the relevant information to:

Wyoming Writers Groups

Wyoming Writers, Inc. serves novelists, poets, nonfiction writers and humorists and has a good-sized roster of members. It also features an annual conference.

Bear Lodge Writers is based in Sundance, Wyoming. It’s a critique group for published and unpublished authors, and the official site says it does welcomes all regardless of occupation, “…sex, religion, race, color, politics, brand of false teeth…”

As the name implies, WyoPoets supports the community of Wyoming poetry writers regardless of professional status.

The Wyoming Press Association works in the interest of Wyoming’s 45 newspapers and the people who staff them.

LinkedIn members should check out the Wyoming Writers page.

Wyoming Authors is not a Wyoming writers group per se–it’s  a small website with some helpful links to other writers and the Wyoming Center for the Book.
