MONTANA WRITING PROGRAMS

Montana State University offers several options for those looking to study English or writing in the Boezman area. Rocky Mountain College offers majors in English Education, Literary Studies and Creative Writing, and they are located in Billings. They also have minors in English Education and Writing.

Based in Missoula, MT, The 406 Writers’ Workshop offers evening classes and weekend intensives for those who want to improve their writing without entering a formal degree program. The University of Montana has a Department of Creative Writing in their English Department that caters to those looking to get their MFA.
