Utah Writers Groups

utah-sealIf you live in the state of Utah, you are in luck…there is plenty of support for both the new and the experienced writer alike. Joining a group that is especially for writers can be a very helpful thing. Not only do you get support, but you can network and learn new things from others in the field.

UtahWriting.com is an online resource for writers where you can have a listing and network with other Utah writers on the web.

The League of Utah Writers has approximately 400 members and there are chapters of this organization located in various areas of the state. They have a speakers bureau and have speakers and workshops throughout the year.

The Utah Children’s Writers group has a blog and a Yahoo group for those in the genre, and they have a different contributor for each day of the week. This makes for an interesting collection of posts.

Moab Poets & Writers is a group that publishes regional anthologies and provides a place for those in the area to gather and share their work with other writers.
