OK–I think this is an absolutely hillarious idea for a website! But it is useful as well…

Who’s Alive and Who’s Dead is the perfect reference for the busy writer–especially if you write about, or make references to a lot of famous people in your writing. Look up actors/actresses, sports figures, musicians, politicians and others to see if they are alive or not…but beware…the tendency is to keep looking!

The site isn’t comprehensive, but has enough on there to be worth checking out. I was shocked to learn that pop singer Laura Branigan died of a brain aneurysm before she was 50 and that Fats Domino is still kickin’ it at 79!
