Thanks Cath. I think it really makes you think about how you spend your money and how much money you need to make. Seriously, if writers can’t afford to just save the minimum in each of these categories, they really need to rethink their business and marketing plans as well as their lifestyles.

Great post Yo. I know that managing taxes can be a real challenge for those in this field. The “off the top” suggestion makes good sense and is an easy way to address the issue, if somewhat painful! : )

Of course…the alternative is far more painful–not having the $$ to pay the taxes!
